Nate Ashley Reviews Writers’ Retreats in Greece

An incredibly peaceful place to sit down and write. Nikos and Georgia are both incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area, and the food is just amazing.

Nathaniel Ashley was born in London and grew up in Devon, before studying history at the University of Edinburgh. One of his courses explored the fall of Constantinople, and his interest in this turbulent period of history led him to start developing a fantasy series based on the medieval Mediterranean. 

Nathaniel Ashley is the author of Captain Proton vs the Deviator, a story inspired by the anecdotes of a friend who works in animation.

Nathaniel has also taken a Short Story Course with City University, taught by author Katy Darby. In addition to his work as an author, he also works as a freelance journalist and has been published in Neon Books Literary MagazineThe Skinny and Massive Cinema.
